On February 23rd Bonobo will be headlining the Bluebird Theater in Denver for an official SnowBall Music Festival kickoff party. This show comes just two days after the scheduled release of the newest album titled Black Sands Remixed. Dynohunter, who we recently featured here, will be dropping their new release LIVE right before Bonobo takes the stage. Ableminds, an exciting duo based in Denver, will provide the opening tunes for the night.

Excision at The Ogden | February 16 & 17

Excision is coming back to Denver in mid February for a two-night takeover of The Ogden Theatre. Excision is bringing in some absolutely stunning visual and audio production (check out the video below) that will give you an experience unlike anything you have seen from him before. Be sure to come out early because there are two extremely talented opening acts set to get the night started; Liquid Stranger and Lucky Date, who we have featured here before.

On Saturday, February 25th we are happy to announce that Hujje will be performing live at Absinthe House for a special Official SnowBall Preparty edition of Saturday Night House Party. Hujje recently released a number of new tracks that you can find at the bottom of this post and on their SoundCloud channel.

Kung Fu is a jazz/fusion band made up of 5 extremely talented musicians. These guys have been powering across the country playing many festivals and making fusion music cool again. This Thursday night Steve Aoki and Datsik are bringing the Deadmeat Tour to The Fillmore Auditorium where they will be debuting their brand new visual light shows. The special guest for this stop is the ever exciting AlvinRisk. The folks at The Fillmore have hooked us up with three sets of tickets to give away for this event. Reso + Evol Intent at The Bluebird | Thursday, Feb. 9

Just a few months off his most recent release, Ishimura EP, Reso is bringing his tour to Denver’s Bluebird Theater for a crazy night of heavy bass. In case you have never heard of Reso before, this is an accurate description of his music from the About section of his webpage: “Reso’s hybrid of rising ambience, hyper beats and speaker busting tech-basslines feels more suited to a post apocalyptic Tokyo than the contemporary concrete of most Dubstep.” Joining him at this Denver stop is Evol Intent, who is featured on one of the tracks on the Ishimura EP.
